Honor, Healing, and Hope for Senior Veterans in Alabama

We are an all-volunteer staff working to end the silent suffering of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam veterans by granting their unfulfilled dreams, returning them to the places where they fought, and giving them the honor, healing, and hope they need and deserve.

Upcoming Trip:

WWII Museum in New Orleans

Help make our first Alabama Trip of Honor possible. We have eight WWII veterans who have never experienced the WWII Museum in New Orleans. You can give them the opportunity to relive their story as history holds it.

Fundraising Goal: $5,000

Deadline: Dec. 15, 2017

TOGETHER, WE CAN HONOR OUR ALABAMA WORLD WAR II VETERANS.

Meet our Alabama Coordinator:

Chris Batté

Chris graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Education. Her passion has always been teaching History to Middle and High School students. She went on her first Trip of Honor with Forever Young to Pearl Harbor in 2016 and discovered another passion; honoring senior veterans. Chris coordinates the wishes of our veterans in Alabama through veteran outreach and fundraising. In her free time, you'll find Chris working on her farm or riding her horse, Tex.
